 The Philadelphia Alumnae Association Foundation of Kappa Kappa Gamma 

Our Mission:

"The Philadelphia Alumnae Association Foundation of Kappa Kappa Gamma Fraternity is dedicated to serving community organizations within its five-county membership that demonstrate a financial need and the Kappa Kappa Gamma Foundation. The Foundation endeavors to enhance the quality of life, education, leadership and personal well-being of those in need while spreading goodwill on behalf of Kappa Kappa Gamma.”

Our local Foundation supports the Kappa Kappa Gamma Foundation, Baker Industries and the Chester Charter Scholars Academy through fundraisers, book collections, and special events.  

CCSA is dedicated to educating the children and youth of the Chester area through integrated arts instruction and a rigorous literacy curriculum. Their exceptional academic programs go beyond scholastic excellence. They challenge their students to build strong character, exhibit integrity, empathy, and a commitment to serving their community.  We continue engaging with the kindergarten students for Reading Beach Club sessions and share a day of reading with 2nd grade students, gifting them a book of their very own.

Founded in 1988 by Charles and Louise, Baker Industries provides an appropriate working environment for specific groups of vulnerable adults: people with physical or emotional disabilities, recovering substance abusers, individuals on parole or probation, and the homeless. The work sites in Malvern and Philadelphia help individuals rebuild their lives, giving them a second chance. Baker Board Vice Chariman, John H. “Turk” Thacher, Jr. is the
proud father of two Kappas! Baker is completely supported by the work they produce and charitable donations. Our support helps keep this organization going. Our PAA sisters participate in several service days each year.
